Because summer is better with a high dive.
After 50 years, our pool needs resurfacing before it can open for the 2027 season. Help us protect the place our neighborhood has loved since 1968, high dive and all.
In the simplest terms, our beloved pool is losing thousands of gallons every season. To open safely for 2027, it needs to be resurfaced, a project that pools undergo every decade or so. Oak Park hasn't been resurfaced in 50 years.
The board is vetting contractors to complete the work this fall, in time to open fresh for 2027.
Reaching this point has been a true community effort. Leadership pledges from generous families, $200 resurfacing donations, and members voluntarily paying 2025 dues have given us a real head start (see the thermometer above). Now we need the rest of our community to help us cross the finish line.
Whether you can give $50, $500, or $5,000, every dollar brings us closer. One-time gifts and multi-year pledges both help.
Local businesses can support the campaign and reach neighborhood families. See sponsorship levels.
Watch for a benefit dinner at a local restaurant and fun social events through the season. Mahjong, anyone?
Consider your donation an investment in the community and the vitality of our beautiful neighborhood. Thank you for your generosity and your neighborly spirit.
100% of your gift goes to the pool through Zeffy (no fees). Prefer GoFundMe? Give here.
